Centurylink / Level 3 - Provides connectivity to over 60 countries, 500 plus markets with over 42 Tbps of global throughput over a high performance, diverse network. Their network features over 21 Tbps of global peering capacity, and spans 200,000+ route miles globally across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. By having this carrier in our facility, our customers benefit from fewer network hops ensuring a high-quality, fast and resilient connection.
TW Telecom – Level 3 acquired tw telecom in October of 2014 and now is also owned by Centurylink. Though the facility already had services with Level 3 we decided to keep this contract as this is a different circuit which also means additional redundancy options for our customers. The merger also meant a broader network, greater man power and all the benefits of a bigger company.
XO (a Verizon Company) - Offers Multiple types of access, high-capacity bandwidth choices, robust Service Level Agreements and web-based monitoring of bandwidth capacity; Best possible performance and throughput. They have hundreds of private peering arrangements which allows them to route the Internet traffic around congested public peering points to provide the best possible speed and throughput. Also, their IP network architecture maximizes redundancy with no single IP point of failure.
Other providers include FPL Fibernet (now known as Fibernet Direct), AT&T and Windstream
Carrierhouse has two meet-me-rooms dedicated to our equipment and our carriers’ handover point equipment. Access to the meet me room is granted only to the providers and the facility staff therefore providing a safe production environment with minimal risk of interruption. Customers can order fiber optic or ethernet cable cross-connect depending on their needs and equipment. Our Network Operations Center monitors our network and has immediate direct contact with our carriers 24x7x365.
